It is a great pride and pleasure for me to be associated with Howlader Foundation Women's College at a moment when it is in the swim of getting digitized. I appreciate its recent move to launch its own Website, namely, “howladercollege.edu.bd”. It is a time befitting initiative to meet the challenges of high-tech contemporary world. In an age of globalization and information technology, the importance of digitizing the educational institutions can hardly be overemphasized.

Howlader Foundation Women’s College an institution of Howlader Foundation, which is providing free college education for young women from families living in undeveloped villages of Patuakhali and Barisal districts of Bangladesh. HFWC students receive free college education, books, transportation and computer lab. HFWC’s core credence that the decisions an educated woman makes as a sovereign, knowledgeable, responsible civilian, effect lifelong social changes in their life and society. The non-profit Institute: Howlader Women’s College, created and supporting by Howlader Foundation, which established by Al-haj Minuddin Howlader’s grandchildren. Located at Village: Chaita, Dist.: Patuakhali, Bangladesh. Grandchildren and their parents using their family land, properties and personal funds to run this Foundation and Institute.
