Objective

The overall objective of Howlader Foundation Women’s College is to provide free college education to young women from families living in undeveloped villages of Patuakhali and Barisal districts of Bangladesh.

Specific objectives of the college include:

1. To increase the number of young women from rural areas who have access to a college education.

2. To provide a quality education that will help young women to be successful in their professional careers.

3. To promote gender equality and empower young women to be leaders in their communities.

4. To create opportunities for young women to network with each other and with professionals in the fields of education, business, and government.

5. To support the development of the rural areas of Patuakhali and Barisal districts by providing a skilled workforce of young women who are educated and ready to work.

This college always prioritizes progress over profits. We provide scholarships to the most deserving girls who cannot afford to pay their tuition fees. We also offer free education to girls who have scored well in the SSC and HSC exams.

We have a computer lab, library, and science lab where the students can do their research and studies. We also provide free transportation and food to the students.

We will stop at nothing until every girl in our community has access to a quality education. Now, more than ever, it is important for young women to have the opportunity to pursue their dreams and make a positive impact in their communities.
